For the 33^rd time, the Swiss African Cup will take place in Bern – a celebration of football, diversity, and community.

Each year, the Cup brings together over 30 nations and generation in Bern. What starts on the football field goes far beyond sporting victories: it is about encounter, mutual understanding, and peaceful coexistence. Under the motor, “Live Together, Play Together”, the tournament becomes a unique sports and cultural event where football unfolds its full integrative power, building bridges between cultures and people.

Tournament Categories:

• Kids Category

Knockout system, fast-paced matches and maximum fun. Short games, big emotions, and non-stop action for our youngest players.

• Youth Category

The ultimate show match for rising football talents ready to shine on the big stage

• Adults Category

Each team faces every opponent in their group (depending on the number of teams). The top two advance to the quarter finals, followed by the semi finals and the grand final to crown the champion.

Highlights from 2025

On 5^th July 2025,  16 teams competed in an unforgettable tournament full of energy, fun, and fair play. Also were two children teams that competed.  After a thrilling day, Team Nigeria took home the Swiss African Cup 2025 title.

The Swiss African Forum (SAF) aims to give Africans in Switzerland a strong and unified voice. We create spaces for meaningful encounters that build bridges, break down prejudices, and share an authentic, positive image of Africa.
